Police Costume

Let me tell you girls, that’s just what I said. How am I going to find a sexy costume in a PLUS SIZE that will make all the men want me at the company party? I wanted them to drool over me. Or at least compliment me on my sexy costume. That would make my day. Hell, my month.

Maybe I should tell you my story. I have always been the – let’s say – “curvy” kind of woman. Pretty (I’ve been told), but “curvy”. You know, kind of like the girl in the television show – “Drop Dead Diva.” I’ve tried pretty much every diet that has ever been sold, but I was unable to lose the weight. And fit into a sexy PLUS SIZE costume? As the boys in Jersey say – “Forget About It!”

Every year I was invited to all these great costume parties – especially at Halloween. I would go to all these costume stores and see these women laughing and having fun trying on all these sexy costumes. What an exciting time. Except, when I would get to the rack, there was nothing in a PLUS SIZE. Or if there was,THE SELECTION WAS LIMITED. What was I going to do? I definitely wasn’t going to make a homemade costume.

I think the story I’m telling is shared by many women. I know I’m not alone in this.

Well, this year I have not only been invited to a Halloween party, but a masquerade party too! A masquerade party? Aren’t those only in movies? Anyway, now I needed two costumes. What if some of the same people are at both parties? I had my reputation to think about!

Like every year, I hit the pavement for the perfect thing to wear. Not only was I nervous about even finding a sexy costume, but I didn’t even know what type of costume I wanted to wear. I knew one thing, it had to be sexy. I was thinking maybe a Cleopatra or a french maid costume.. There is always the sexy vixen pirate wench costume. Then again, I was thinking a police woman costume may be great, or the ever popular nympho nurse costume. The options were endless. At least in my mind.

This year I didn’t want my feet to be tired and my ego bruised, as in years before. That’s when it occurred to me to check out the internet. Duh! But, I had never shopped over the internet. Long story short, I went to my computer and was so excited to find a whole world of plus size costumes. The selections were endless it seemed. I even found a sexy naughty costume for the after party. Hey, you never know. Right ladies? Us “curvy” women need to be naughty too! After all plus size is in. Haven’t you heard? Check out the article below from glamour and you’ll see what I mean.
